Our Socal Teardrops “Krawler” (off-road camper trailer) has Falken all-terrain tires on Method Race Wheels. Sleeping space for 2 adults and an optional rooftop tent allows you to have room for a family of 4. Take the whole family along and have a warm, comfortable spot for everyone.

No more sleepless nights lying awake in a ground tent while the wind rattles everything around you. The double-sealed doors and windows make for a quiet, dry, dust-free night in those lousy weather conditions.

This off-road camper trailer is easy to tow – we recommend a tow capacity of 3000 pounds. The built-in electronic brake controller makes hookup fast and easy with a standard 2″ ball hitch.

What a great time we had! Spent 3 nights with the tear drop trailer. Started at the Salton Sea, through Borrego Springs and then onto San Onofre. It was perfect for all occasions. We didn’t rent the optional fridge but it held our ice chest perfectly. Will definitely be looking at renting one for our next trip.

Nice trailer. I did have high expectations and that will account for the 4 stars but it is what it is. First, the experience with the trailer was great. What makes the 4 star review is that I did not get the 30 gallons of water I was promised. I got maybe 5 gallons. I ran out of water in the middle of the desert. Next is the cleanliness. If I’m getting charged $65 for a”cleaning fee,” then I expect a clean trailer. The trailer I got was nasty to be nice. The kitchen area was disgusting. But I was taking the trailer to the desert so, it is was it is. And last, the guys “helping” me were complete jerks. It seemed I was interrupting them from important things like talking shop talk and jerking around. I’m sorry but I’m a paying customer and i think I should come first. Sorry I interrupted your grabassing and shop talk. Other than that, a good experience. The guy directly helping me was awesome, (sorry forgot your name.) and helpful. Get some good employees Off the grid rentals!

Rented from 7/13-7/16.This trip was fraught with external complications, but the date had been picked 2 months in advance and it was going to happen one way or another. Now that it’s over I can definitively say: The easiest part of the whole experience was this trailer. You can check availability online, book online, etc. It was ready when it was supposed to be; freshly cleaned and fully stocked. I called two days before my scheduled pickup with a problem and these guys went way above and beyond to help me out.I volunteered to cook all the meals for the trip (5 people) and the stove/fridge made it a breeze. The kitchen area is well designed and comes with most of the basics you’d need: pans, knives, cutting board, stick lighter, and so on.”Charlie” had a built in solar panel on slide-out tracks which gave me the confidence to run two fans all night (the trailer’s exhaust fan and a secondary 12V oscillating fan), a necessary comfort when camping in the Mojave in July.The mattress was comfortable, the canopy was sturdy, the trailer towed beautifully, and the staff was exceptional. I will undoubtedly be a returning customer. If you are on the fence about trying one of these out… do it… hopefully not on a weekend that I need it.

No brainer….great rig and outstanding customer service. Threw in a solar panel for free and let me keep it an extra night when I extended my trip because I was having so much fun!! You can’t even tell you are pulling the trailer, even on dodgy BLM land. No dust inside, no rattles, no breaks on a 6800 mile road trip. Solar panel keeps the battery charged with a fridge plugged in all the time…..if you can find water you can truly be “off the grid” indefinitely. Enjoy.

Very easy to rent, very easy to pull, slept two just fine, we rented in the winter time, temps where in the low 30’s, so bring a heavy Sleeping bag if your going to go to a cold area, not much insolation in these things.Very easy to pack up, made our trip much nicer then with out it.Cost of rental is no more then staying in your average hotel.Rebel Off Road handles all the details of delivery and drop off, they are very professional and easy to work with.I would say don’t call Off the Grid, just text them, they will respond very quickly to your text’s, I never could reach them on the phone when I tried calling, but that may have just been bad timing on my part but they where quick to respond to my text, less then 10 minutes.I would rent one of these again, very nice.

If you’re debating it, DO IT.Camping with OTG has been quite an incredible experience. As an avid outdoorsman and camper, I thought I would give this little trailer a try on my adventures to Zion National Park. I picked up the trailer and the guys there are super helpful. They gave me a tour of the trailer and taught me how to use all of the equipment including the rooftop tent (which comes separately). Everything is easy to use and very self explanatory for those concerned with this trailers complexities. If you’re lucky enough to catch the owner, Nizar, he’s a super cool guy. Like myself, he too is an avid adventurer and is extremely passionate about the overland lifestyle.Towing this trailer on my 6 hour drive was easy. It’s light, compact, and you may even forget its behind you. Just drive cautiously because everyone on the road around you is distracted by your rig and wishing they were you!Setting up camp has never been so fast! This trailer is equipped with a kitchenette area, a stereo, and sleeps 4 comfortably if you get the rooftop tent (2 without it). It didn’t take very long after pulling into the campsite for all of our neighbors to come by requesting a tour.Connecting and disconnecting is easy and it can be taken along on day trips or left behind locked up. We took it with us on a detoured off-roading trip and this thing can hang with the big boys off road!I HIGHLY recommend renting Off The Grid. Booking is made easy on the website too.Happy adventuring, adventurers!
